Why use a support company?

A question I get asked regularly is "why would someone pay an organisation when they can just get someone privately?"

My answer to this question is; security and peace of mind that the person coming into your home has been vetted thoroughly.

Knowing that all staff have had all the relevant checks done, police check, blue/yellow card, first aid and CPR.

Knowing that the staff member is accountable to someone who has your back, someone who is there to have what can be stressful and uncomfortable conversations if the staff member is always late, or if they don't turn up to shift, and so you know that they can be replaced at late notice if this was to happen.

Someone who has your back not only with staff but with other services as well, such as therapists or the NDIS
